So at about quarter to one I got a call and I told them straight up I doubt they were really from O2, sounded like a complete scam to me. The person on the phone then asked me how I could say that, given I use an O2 SIM card.

This number keeps ringing me up, saying they're from O2's contracts team and that there's a problem with my account. The thing is, I'm actually with Sky and not O2 at all. Pretty confusing!

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent, saying they were from O2 and had a special discount for loyal customers. They asked for my info but didn’t seem to have any of it and kept urging me to share my details to “get past security checks.” When I called them out and said it was a scam, they just cut the call straight away. Claimed to be from Sky, asking if there had been any network issues recently. Offered a discount to be applied to my account, but didn't carry out the usual checks to verify my identity. I terminated the call as I doubted their identity; they attempted to call back twice more.

Got a call earlier and the bloke sounded like he had a really heavy Indian accent, so thick I couldn’t make out much and had to ask him to ring later. He was pushing some deal about Sky broadband and a brand new iPhone all for £35 a month, including all the channels. Seemed like a total scam to me, so I just told him straight up he was a conman!

Complete rip-off from the start, I could tell it was dodgy. They asked if I’d been having problems with my EE signal since they merged with BT. Said I qualified for a new SIM card that could boost my reception. Then they passed me to some “tech support” who tried to get my PIN from a text message. I kept feeding them bogus PINs, then when they asked for my email, I knew I had them. After a bit, they cottoned on and started swearing at me. Honestly, don’t pick up if you don’t fancy messing about with some Indian scammers.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Sky, asking if I’d had any problems with the internet lately. The accent was really thick and I'm a bit hard of hearing, so it was quite tricky to follow. They mentioned something about a discount on my Sky bill. Then they wanted to make sure they were talking to the account owner and asked for my email. I ended the call right there. They called me a couple more times after that, but I ignored them.
