Got a call claiming to be from Amazon just a couple days back. Felt a bit iffy about it so I didn’t hit 1 to talk to this ‘account manager’. Instead, I just logged into my Amazon account like normal to double check, and sure enough, my Prime subscription isn’t set to expire until next July. Pretty obvious it was a scam then.

Looks like someone has gotten into my Amazon prime because £39.99 just vanished from my bank. When I called, it said to press 4 for assistance! Total nightmare.

Got an automated call claiming £31.99 would be taken from my Amazon Prime account, and if I didn’t want that, to press 1 to talk to someone. Didn’t bother pressing 1, but then I just heard a nonstop buzzing sound. Tried phoning back on Skype, but it just gave me the same buzzing, never actually rang through.
