Got a call from some life insurance agent called "Reassured." I did request some quotes on the internet, but the strange thing is the company isn’t actually located in Porthmadog, so it all felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, and I'm clueless who it could be in Porthmadog! No message left on my answerphone either, so I just blocked the number straight away. Checked my BT account yesterday and realised I've blocked over 60 numbers in the last six months alone! Honestly, I might as well keep moaning to TPS or BT, but nothing ever changes!

Got a call at around 4pm today from a recorded message saying it was 'Sam from Windows Ltd' about some double glazing offer. This same weird prerecorded message has popped up 3 or 4 times lately, each from a different number and area code, this time saying 'The Driveway Centre' though. When I looked up Windows Ltd, it’s actually listed as dissolved on Companies House. I used 1471 to check and the voicemail said they’re actually Telepro Marketing. Since I’m on the TPS list, I’m filing a complaint with the ICO.

Got a call like this again, no words, just silence before they hung up when my ansafone kicked in. I’m itching to answer next time and give them a piece of my mind, yet honestly, what’s the point? Feels like BT and the TPS don’t do a thing to stop these annoying calls!

Got a call earlier from someone named Sam claiming to be from Safe Windows & Doors. He mentioned some kind of scrappage deal for swapping out windows and doors older than 10 years. I’ve never come across anything like that before. Plus, all my windows and doors are less than 5 years old anyway, so I told him so. He just thanked me and hung up. Feels a bit dodgy to me, not sure they’re legit.

A bloke called Sam, said he was from Windows Limited and spoke with an English accent, rang my landline (01223). My number’s ex-directory and I’m signed up with the TPS. I hung up straight away but then dialled 1471 to find out the number. After that, I hit 3 to call back but the line just gave me the unobtainable beep.
