They kept ringing me back to back about four times, questioning why I wasn’t picking up. Had that classic sketchy windows scam vibe to it all.

I got three calls back to back and not a single word was said on the other end. No idea what that was about.

I got a call from a woman speaking with a Southern Asian accent, saying she was calling from the so-called ‘Windows Service Centre’. Didn’t quite get her name. She asked for me, using my surname, as I live in a shared house. She then said stuff like I owned a Windows laptop, mentioned some Windows licence ID, and claimed hackers had tried to get into my computer lately. She warned if I didn’t stay on the call and follow her instructions, they’d completely lock my device. I just said no thanks and hung up.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Windows computers, but as far as I know, Microsoft doesn’t make personal calls to people about their PCs or laptops. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
