Curious about who was behind it, I pressed 2 to talk to the so-called 'Technical Director', and I ended up speaking to someone with a strong Indian accent. When I asked what company he was representing, he said he was from Open Reach working for Virgin, BT, and all the major internet providers, repeating the same threat about my internet being disconnected in a day. I didn’t waste time listening to the nonsense. Later, the same number called me again, this time from 01234 567890, which I’ve reported as suspicious.
