Got a call from someone claiming to be from council housing, saying they needed to check if my house had any damages. Problem is, I don’t live in council housing at all! Told them off and blocked the number straight away. What’s with a Yorkshire number ringing me all the way here in Cambridgeshire? Made no sense at all!

Received a call from this number. Picked up but there was nothing but dead silence for about 15 seconds, then they just ended the call. When I tried ringing them back, the phone wouldn’t even let me connect. Weird!

These annoying callers just keep coming and it feels like the telecom watchdogs aren’t doing much to block them from using VOIP to keep hassling us.
