It’s weird, I’ve had problems with folks from the North East and North West areas too. Reading the other comments, I saw some mention of people from the Philippines and other parts of Asia. Funny enough, I’ve even been threatened by someone from that background. Honestly, who are these people? Considering what I’d been going through right before those calls, coming from various numbers, it honestly felt like it might be linked to money laundering or something dodgy like that. Maybe I’m just connecting dots that aren’t there, probably overthinking it all!

It's a bit strange, but I've had some problems with callers from the North East and North West too. Looking at what others have said, some mentioned people from the Philippines and other Asian backgrounds, and honestly I've even received death threats from folks of that ethnicity around there. Seriously, who even are they? Given what I was dealing with just before these bizarre calls from all sorts of numbers, it sort of feels like it could be connected to some money laundering scheme. Maybe I’m overthinking it and my sums are way off, but I’ve got this weird feeling it’s all tangled up somehow.

Got a call from someone who sounded like they had an Asian accent again. I understand plenty of Asians work in call centres here in the UK, but normally their English sounds decent. Nowadays, I just don’t bother answering if the accent sounds like that.

Got a call from this number recently, sounded like someone speaking with a Filipino accent, probably from abroad, trying to trick me with some insurance claim nonsense. They kept pressing for my postcode, but the one they had was from ages ago, like over a year out of date. If you don’t give the answer they want, they just hang up on you. Total rubbish. These calls happen 'cause firms sell customer data and phone lists all over the place. My advice? Just block them, don’t pick up unknown numbers, and NEVER share any personal details. If it was a genuine caller, they'd already have your info and wouldn’t need to ask. Hope this warning helps anyone else getting these dodgy calls.

It was like an insurance firm calling me, but when I told the guy, who had an Indian accent, that I've never signed up for any insurance, he just kept going on about how I must have done it unknowingly, constantly cutting me off. So I just ended the call.
