i got a call from a consumer protection group about some timeshare payments i supposedly owed. when i told them to delete my info under gdpr, they got all aggressive and threatened to pass my info on to 60 other companies. then they just hung up on me. i’ve since reported it to the ico (icol###).

I came across a timeshare exit firm that isn’t even registered with Companies House. Their so-called ‘legal partners’ have all been set up quite recently, like between 2 to 18 months ago. To top it off, one of the directors involved in their ‘legal team’ apparently also sells second-hand cars! Honestly, that says quite a lot about their credibility.

I received a call from this number yesterday. An individual with an Asian accent asked, "Do you recall having a conversation with me previously?" To clarify, we haven't spoken before, or else this number would’ve already been blacklisted. In fact, we did blacklist it after the last attempt! Strangely enough, it’s tried to reach me three times today, yet thankfully my call forwarding stopped it. This feels quite intrusive, doesn't it? I was under the impression the government was taking steps to tackle these nuisance calls!
