This morning I got two calls from 01764 680706 but both times they hung up before I even picked up. I checked the area code and found out it’s from Scotland, but I don’t have any contacts there. Gonna block the number now. Really appreciate the details you guys provide on this site, makes it easier to decide what to do!

They said it was D&G about a washing machine, but then the call just got cut off.

Got a call from 01764680706, they claimed it was about my washer and that my insurance was nearly up. This is the 4th time they've called me now. When I asked them what brand the washing machine was, they didn’t even get it right. I told them to leave me alone, but next time I won’t be so nice about it. Every call has been from a guy with an Indian accent.

We weren’t answering as we were out, then I tried calling back and it said the number isn’t active anymore.

I picked up the call but didn't know the name they mentioned. They spoke with a foreign accent. Then, when I asked them to say the name again, they just ended the call.

Sounds like Domestic and General was on the line, trying to sell me a washing machine warranty that didn't even exist. I told them straight up I wasn’t falling for their scam!
