Got a call from an Asian bloke saying he could help me cut down on my gas and electricity bills. I kept asking him how he got my number and told him to take me off their calling list ‘cause I never asked for this. Instead of answering, he just kept going on about "saving me money." Eventually, I told him to stop and to listen properly, then he just hung up on me. Pretty annoying.

Here we go once more. I also got one of those "Goodbye" calls today. Apparently, it’s an autodial system, and if you don’t answer or the call doesn’t link up in a few rings, it drops on your voicemail. Judging by what others have said, it’s probably just another bunch of time wasters!

Got this call twice from different people, both times sounding like they were from Crief, Scotland, but their names were very English while their accents sounded Indian. They claimed they could help me cut down on my gas and electric bills. The second time, I told them I'd never signed up to be contacted and asked them to take me off their calling list. The bloke said, "But we're here to save you MONEY!" I wasn’t interested and made it clear again that I never agreed to these calls. Then he just hung up on me. Now I've blocked the number so they can’t bother me again.

I got a call from this bloke who had an accent like that guy Apu from The Simpsons. He claimed he was ringing from some company dealing with utility bills. I really couldn't make out what he was trying to say. When I asked if anyone there spoke English properly, he just ended the call.

Got calls from some sort of utility company claiming to be from India. I picked up once and told them to take my number off their list, and they just cut me off. Another time I tried to get their company name and contact info, but again they ended the call abruptly. They've been ringing me about three times every weekday, which feels like a breach of GDPR marketing rules. I’ve blocked their number now, so it goes straight to voicemail, but still end up with a few silent automated messages daily. Sounds like spam for sure, maybe even a scam if they’re trying to gather personal info.
