The number seemed legit since it matched my area code, but nope. I got a recorded message saying my IP was hacked and my internet would get cut off for a day or two. Total con job - IP addresses from BT are assigned through a DNS server and usually change every time you log on to the internet, plus every gadget has its own unique IP anyway.
