This afternoon at a few minutes past one, I received a call that featured a pre-recorded message in an American accent, supposedly from Amazon. The message stated, "You've just completed a transaction on Amazon for £399.00. If you believe this isn't correct, please ring Amazon at...." Sadly, I didn't catch the number. It's worth mentioning that I've never made a purchase of that kind with Amazon-more like never at all!
