I answered and said hi but they just hung up straight away without saying a word.

Some bloke called claiming to be from TalkTalk, but I’ve got no clue who he was. This isn’t the first time he’s phoned me, telling me to switch my computer on and off. He said there’s an issue with my computer because they’re picking up weird signals or something, like it’s turning itself off and on. He offered to sort it out for me, but I told him I hadn’t noticed any problems and if I needed help from TalkTalk, I’d ring them up myself. Then I just hung up on him.

He rang me again this morning around 9:33, pretending to be from TalkTalk. He wanted me to turn my computer on and off, saying they’d noticed some weird signals on their side suggesting my PC was switching off and on by itself. I told him I hadn’t seen any issues like that, and if I needed help I’d contact TalkTalk directly. Then I just ended the call.

My phone rang about half 8 this morning, but I didn't pick up. Once my answer machine kicked in, they just disconnected straight away.
