Got a call supposedly from BT saying my line was about to be disconnected and asking me to press 1 to fix it. I knew it was dodgy straight away and hung up. Then I phoned BT’s call blocking line, 1572, to block that number - so now it just shows as 'call blocked' when they ring. I’d hope BT takes these blocked numbers seriously and looks into them, but honestly, who can tell if they actually do anything about it.
