I received a rather irritating call from someone claiming to be from Amazon Prime, warning me that my account was on the verge of termination if I didn’t permit them to withdraw more money from my card. After a quick chat with the proper Amazon customer service team, it became clear that it was all a load of nonsense. Total scammers!

Oh and just to mention, 01761 is actually a local area code for where I live, so that’s why I picked up the phone.

Got a robocall claiming to be from Amazon, but this time it came from a different number. Seems like they’re switching it up because their old numbers aren’t working anymore.
