Received an unsolicited call from a health organisation that I've never encountered before. They seemed to know a fair amount about me, yet I had no recollection of them at all. It felt like a game of guesswork with lots of probing queries. In the end, I simply asked them to remove my number from their records. Quite nosey, really - and the persistence was unnerving!

I received a rather peculiar call from a woman inquiring about my health. I figured I’d have a bit of fun and just play along. So, I spun an elaborate tale about how fit and fantastic I was feeling. I had a hunch she was eventually going to try to sell me something. When it became clear that was her aim, I simply expressed my gratitude for her time and hung up. Quite the time-waster for her, indeed!

A lady with a really hard to place accent called me up asking about how I’m feeling. I told her I wasn’t comfortable chatting about my health with a stranger. She said they were ringing all pensioners to offer health support but didn’t say how they were connected to the NHS or any official health service. I just told her I didn’t want to continue and asked to be taken off their call list.

I got a call from a woman who pretended to be my mum in law and started asking about her health. Thankfully, she was alert and ended the call quickly. She also made sure to inform her doctor's surgery about it. The caller spoke with a foreign accent.

some woman rang me up claiming she was from the local health board and needed details about my recent doctor’s appointment. I asked her to name the health board and the specific doctor, and while she did get the health board right, she dodged the question about the doctor and tried to throw it back to me. i told her i only give out medical info to people from my own surgery. afterwards, i called my doctor’s office and they said they had no idea anyone was collecting info for them. the manager was clear: only trust health queries from your official gp or local hospital!

Just got a call from this number earlier, some bloke introducing himself as Matthew Harris. Said he's just been put on a health board for High Peak or something like that. He started going on about my meds being completely useless, but luckily I hung up before he could try selling me anything.

I work at a medical practice, and one of our patients got a call from this number trying to push health supplements on her. When she said she’d only take anything after consulting her doctor, the caller claimed they’d already confirmed with us, which obviously wasn’t true. Then they went on to ask for her bank info, which made her end the call immediately. I looked into the number, and it doesn’t actually exist. You can buy numbers with that area code (Temple Cloud, Bristol) and use them to hide your real mobile number, which is really disturbing.

I received a rather courteous call from a gentleman who was familiar with my last name. He inquired about how the weather was impacting my joint pain. I couldn't help but wonder if he was affiliated with my hospital. When I asked, he introduced himself as Mathew Harris, a health expert from London. He seemed quite sincere, though it could have been an effort for research or sales. It truly raises the question-who's sharing our personal details? I believe it's high time we all take a stand against this. Do others feel the same?

I received a call at 9:06 this morning, and can you believe it's Saturday? I only wanted to discuss my husband's health concerns! The person on the line bluntly informed me that the doctor is managing that and insisted I shouldn't ring again. How rude!

My mum received a call from someone claiming to be from her health clinic. The strange thing is, the area code is over 200 miles distant! Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I've experienced a similar issue; I received another call just as I hung up.

I had a chap on the phone, purporting to work for some health organisation, and he was keen to gather details about my well-being. He seemed quite insistent that my registration with the Telephone Preference Service didn’t matter and that it was perfectly acceptable for him to reach out to me. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

On Thursday, October 6, 2016, at around 4:45 PM, my spouse received a rather peculiar phone call. The caller had a distinct foreign accent and claimed to be from a health centre, inquiring about her well-being. However, when she pressed for more details regarding the purpose of his call or his whereabouts, he was rather evasive and refused to share any information. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
