At 1:02 PM on the 9th of December 2020, I received a recorded message from a woman claiming that £600 had been withdrawn from my account, urging me to press 1 for further information. The number was flagged as “not recognised,” which makes it quite clear that it's a scam!

I keep getting calls from various UK numbers claiming to be BT, warning me that my internet will be disconnected. They’ve rung me four times over just two days, the last one this morning at 8:10. It’s really frustrating. We’ve been on the telephone preference service for yonks, but it doesn’t seem to help with these annoying calls. BT, can you please take action? Sounds like someone’s using your name without permission!
