This is totally legit. I don’t understand why folks who don’t pick up the phone claim it’s a scam - how would they know if they don't even answer?! It’s a private company called National Services for Health Improvement doing asthma check-ups over the phone or video for GPs right now. At first, a respiratory nurse called me to set up a time for a twenty minute review, which I've just completed. She didn’t ask for anything dodgy and clearly knew what she was talking about, actually being really helpful and informative.

At first, I let the voicemail get it, then rang my doctor’s surgery to confirm, as they’ve been outsourcing these checks because of Covid. Got a call from 01760300362 saying they were from my doctor’s surgery about a COPD follow-up. I just said I was managing okay. They actually knew my surgery and my full name, which was odd. I rang my surgery after and they told me they didn’t know of any third party checking in like that. Someone from my doctor’s office is meant to ring me back soon to sort this out.
