In a playful, doddery old geezer voice, I responded, and without any hesitation, he cut the line. Honestly, these sorts of calls are so annoying! I've absolutely no desire for a new boiler.

When I asked how she found my number since I'm ex-directory, she told me being ex-directory just means you’re not listed in the phone book! Suddenly, the call just dropped, and she hung up on me.
