After I requested that they cease their ringing, I abruptly ended the conversation, only for the same chappie to ring back almost immediately from yet another number. His tone grew increasingly rude and disarmingly sarcastic, which left us quite distressed. He rang us from various numbers including 01205 323792, 01904 301465, 01695 346217, 01955 459532, 01896 486919, 01349 293834, and 01736 672807. Although we’ve blocked these digits, I am almost certain we'll be inundated with further calls from other sources. I recently received a rather peculiar telephone call from a chap named Robert, representing United Claims Insurance, concerning an incident I was involved in last year. They seemed to possess incredibly precise information about the whole affair-down to the month of the incident, the vehicle I was driving, and the fact that I was blameless. Strangely enough, he mentioned they were acting on behalf of a legal practice. After reaching out to this solicitor's office, I discovered that they are indeed a legitimate outfit registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), yet they have no association with these United Claims folks. I’m certainly not the first individual to approach them about this issue, and they've advised me to file a report with the SRA as they intend to do as well. What’s truly infuriating is their refusal to divulge any contact number. They call me from a supposedly local number, but they’re quite tight-lipped about anything further. In fact, I've had two calls in just the last twelve hours, not to mention another one around eight weeks back. I’ve made it my mission to keep them on the line as long as possible during each attempt, thinking it might hinder their chances of duping someone else. I received a call too from the number 01675 594922. The caller insisted they had some £1000 compensation waiting for me. However, this woman just rattled on and wouldn’t properly respond to my questions. It’s regarding an accident I didn’t even claim for over three years back... She claimed they were mediators wrapping up claims related to car accidents. To my surprise, she had my name, home address, and even details about my vehicle! When I told her I needed to verify her claims, she promptly mentioned she’d ring me back-and then the line went completely dead in an instant. I tried looking up UCI online but came up empty-handed.
