Got a dodgy phone call with a recorded message saying £300 has been withdrawn from my bank for stuff from Amazon, and another £1000 taken for purchases from some other place. It didn’t say which bank either. The message asked me to press 1 or 2 if I recognised the transactions. No name or company came up on the caller ID. I chatted with some mates nearby and they’re getting the exact same call too. The number looks like it’s from our local area code, which makes it even more suspicious.
