Some bloke called me sayin he wanted to chat about my job. I guess he must’ve found me on Linkedin or something cos he started rattling off names of people I work with as well. The guy spoke with a thick Eastern European accent, maybe Russian? But the number was local, like from Yorkshire. Pretty sure it’s some kinda scam.

Just got another spam call, proper annoying!

Got calls from someone claiming to be British Gas Lite, gave me my account number and said I had to renew my contract 11 months early. That’s total rubbish. They kept ringing non stop, about 15 times in just 5 minutes. Even after I picked up and told them I knew what they were trying to do, they didn’t stop calls. I just spent all that time hanging up without saying a word. Proper hassle.

So this bloke called me pretendin to be from a company I use, right? While we were chatting, I looked up the number online and it showed it had been searched over 500 times before. I told him straight up that I knew it was a dodgy scam and he just hung up on me. Typical!

we're a registered business with tps and only use our phone for bookings but these calls keep coming through, it's really annoying. ended up blocking the number and made a report about it. anyone else getting calls from drax powerstation?
