I keep getting calls from this number at my place, like seven times today already. Every time I answer, no one talks. I looked it up and loads of websites mention it. My tip? Just pick up and then hang up or ignore it, just to mess with them a bit!

Got a call from a woman with an accent, asked straight away for my missus by name. Then she wanted to know how to spell my first name and if I was over 65 or 70. When I pressed her, she just brought up Marks and Spencer but wouldn’t say anything else. Asked again what it was about, she said it was some sort of survey, then just said cheers and ended the call.

Got a call from someone with an eastern accent who knew my name and address. Luckily, they didn’t hide their number, so I’ve blocked it on my BT blacklist now.

As soon as this muppet started blabbering his rehearsed lines, I just ended the call. I haven’t got caller ID and honestly, I can't see why I should fork out for a new phone or pay BT to block these nuisance calls. The government really needs to step in and sort out these phone pests!

Got a call while I wasn't at home. Listening to the voicemail, it sounded like it was coming from a call centre with all the background chatter. At one point a woman, who sounded like she might be Anglo-Saxon, just said "hello" two times and then disconnected. My phone showed the number as coming from abroad.
