I've had this number ringing my home incessantly today-seven times, can you believe it? Each time I answer, it's just silence on the other end. I've stumbled upon quite a few websites discussing this particular number. The consensus seems to be to pick up and then simply leave the phone be. What a clever way to waste their time, eh? Quite the amusing tactic, if you ask me!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a foreign woman who inquired specifically about my wife by name. She then went on to ask how my first name was spelled and whether I was over the age of 65 or 70. When I pressed her for more details, she made a reference to Marks and Spencer but was quite evasive and wouldn’t divulge any further information. Upon my repeated questioning, she simply claimed it was all part of a survey and abruptly ended the conversation. Quite odd, really!

Got a call from some bloke with a thick foreign accent claiming to be from British Gas, wanted me to verify my postcode. Seemed dodgy as hell, so I just hung up straight away. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call while I wasn't at home. Listening to the voicemail, it sounded like it was coming from a call centre with all the background chatter. At one point a woman, who sounded like she might be Anglo-Saxon, just said "hello" two times and then disconnected. My phone showed the number as coming from abroad.
