Some bloke with an Indian accent claimed he worked for BT and said there was fraudulent activity on our internet. He wanted me to switch on my laptop so he could inspect it remotely. When I asked for a contact number to ring him back, he gave me a six-digit number, which I told him wasn’t a proper phone number. Then the call just went dead, so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from someone saying he was "Paul Watson" from BT, telling me there was an issue with my internet. Turned out to be some guy from India and he just ended the call abruptly.
