On 22nd Sept 2023 at around 11:17 in the morning, I got a call from a woman speaking with a foreign accent claiming to be from "bank security". I just hung up straight away.

Got a call I didn’t pick up, looked up the number and it’s linked to credit card scams. Definitely dodged a bullet there.

Dont fall for this, its a total con! Just hang up straight away. Scam all the way, be careful!

There were two withdrawals from my account, then a message said to press 1 to talk to someone. Obviously, I didn’t do that. I get loads of these kinds of calls and it’s really annoying, they should be banned. Problem is, I have no idea how to block them on my home phone.

The landline started ringing, so I answered it, and a woman's voice began droning on about some charges to my credit or debit card. I hung up pretty quickly, then decided to call the number back just out of curiosity. To my surprise, all I got was a series of strange sounds - a sort of beeping and squeaking - and the number wasn’t even recognised. Clearly, this was a scammer at play!

Didn’t pick up as I didn’t recognise the number. They never left a message, so I guessed it was just a cold call.

I got a call with a recorded voice saying it was from Visa about some charges of £300 and £1100. Problem is, I don’t even own a Visa card, so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call telling me my visa had been charged twice, once for £1100 and another time for £300. They said to press 1 for help or something. Seemed dodgy to me, so I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.

Received a call on my home phone this morning 22/9/23 around 10:58. Definitely a scam. The caller said there were two separate amounts taken out of my bank account and that to stop it, I needed to ‘Press 1’. I didn’t press anything, just ended the call straight away.
