They said their company’s name like three times, but with their strong Asian accent, I couldn’t make it out. They seemed annoyed that I wasn’t getting it, so I didn’t stick around to hear what they were after. Honestly, it was just an unwanted call anyway.

some woman with an asian accent called me pretending to be from microsoft, said my pc was hacked or something. she told me to turn it on so a techie could fix it, and joked they might even get into my bank account if i didn't stop her. i told her to jog on once i remembered microsoft never makes these calls - total scam!

There was this guy calling from some Microsoft computer scam, sounded pretty pushy and somehow he already knew my name, which freaked me out a bit.

Got a call from a woman named Amanda claiming to be from Microsoft. She was speaking to my 74-year-old granny and kept saying her Microsoft was under attack or something. She gave an ID number that was obviously made up. When I got the phone, I told her I wasn’t falling for her tricks and asked why she was trying to scam my nan. Instead of backing down, she insulted me and told me off for swearing. Truly awful person, watch out for her!

I got a really unpleasant call from a woman, claiming her name was Amanda and that she was from Microsoft. She kept insisting and was quite abusive, saying she had my computer ID. Then she started telling me to sit at my computer and sign in for her. I told her nicely that I don’t own a desktop and asked her to stop ringing me. But after I ended the call, she rang back about seven times in under ten minutes, getting more rude and pushy every time I refused to talk.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent asking for the house owner by name. Told him she wasn't in and asked who was calling. Right after that, he just ended the call. Bit of a shame, would've been good to have a proper natter about these weird charges on my Amazon, Microsoft, and PayPal accounts.
