Got a call today from a guy with a really clear voice, telling me I could get my prescriptions delivered for free. When I asked where he got my info from, he just said it was from some database. I pressed him for which one exactly, but he didn’t have a clue. Then I asked who was footing the bill for this ‘free’ delivery, and he said it was covered by the NHS. The moment I asked him to clarify a bit more, he just ended the call right away.

Similar experience here, but the guy kept bringing up Covid over and over, like he was trying to freak me out or something. Then he started probing about my health, which felt super invasive. I just nicely told him to buzz off, and thankfully he did.

On the 29th of April, 2020, which was right in the middle of the coronavirus situation, I got a call from someone asking if I wanted any prescriptions delivered. I don’t actually need any prescriptions, so I told them no.

Some bloke rang saying there’s a local chemist doing free delivery to stop people having to go out. Since I don’t really need it, I just didn’t bother with it. Could’ve been legit, not sure.
