So I got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon Security warning me that my Prime account had been hacked. They told me to follow some steps to get a refund. After a while, I ended up ticking a box to let them access my computer remotely, which was daft of me. Then I got worried and ended the call. They kept ringing me back for around 30 minutes but finally gave up. Since then, I’ve checked my bank account a few times and luckily, nothing seems wrong yet. I guess I just dodged a bullet.
