This was definitely a call from abroad, not the UK. The bloke said he was from BT and claimed there was an issue with my broadband router, trying to run some tests. I wasn’t having any of it and told him no way. If BT had a real problem, I thought they’d send a technician in a van, not ring me up. Didn’t trust it at all and figured it might be a scam. Next thing, he just hung up on me!
