I keep getting calls from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he's ringing from Windows. The first time I got one, I nearly fell for it. When I said I was suspicious, he passed me over to his manager, who spoke perfect English but was really pushy and aggressive. They threatened me with legal trouble and insisted it was urgent. Apparently, my computer had some illegal stuff on it. They wanted me to connect my PC to them so they could "fix" the issue. That’s when I just hung up. They rang again today, and it sounded like they've picked up some colourful language this time.

There’s this woman I keep encountering who simply utters ‘goodbye’. I've listened to her voice in places like Etwall and Hilton in Derbyshire, as well as Knaresborough and Harrogate in Yorkshire. Honestly, it feels like it should be put to an end.

Be careful, this was a total fraud! My mother in law got tricked into giving her bank details for some fake virus protection software. Thankfully, we realised in time and contacted the bank's fraud department, who managed to block the payment just in the nick of time.

So this company called OTS303, supposedly based in the US, claims they're IT support and that Microsoft gave them the go-ahead to help people with infected computers. But they're not legit at all and just try to rip you off. Watch out, they're scammers.

They keep ringing but no one ever picks up. My husband is quite anxious, so this is really stressing us out, especially since we’re often expecting calls from hospitals and doctors. If these numbers can be identified, why isn’t there a way to track down who’s behind them and where they’re calling from? It’s really frustrating!

This number’s defo a scam, just block it straight away. They’re after your money, trying to trick you. Don’t tell them your name or answer their questions. Just hang up immediately. Microsoft doesn’t contact people like that, trust me.

This morning at precisely 11:10, I received a call from the number mentioned above. Strangely, there seemed to be no one on the line initially. After a brief moment of silence, a rather mechanical female voice chimed in with a “goodbye,” and then the line went silent. Quite peculiar!

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Windows about some issue on my phone line. I told him “no thanks” straight away. The line was pretty clear and even though his accent was obvious, his English was easy to understand. For a moment I thought it might be legit but then I stumbled upon this website and now I’m not so sure!

I got a call from an Asian lady who wanted me to verify my name. I refused and instead asked her what company she was with. She claimed to be calling from Microsoft about issues with my PC. I told her to stop wasting my time with her scam and said she ought to be ashamed, then ended the call. I’ve had loads of similar calls before, usually from 02 numbers, but this one seemed a bit more convincing because of the number it came from. Honestly, they need to get this number blacklisted to stop these fraudsters.

I received a rather peculiar phone call at around 9:50 in the morning on 8th May 2017. The caller, a chap, greeted me with a 'good morning' and claimed to be ringing regarding my Windows computer. Naturally, I was taken aback and asked him, "How on earth did you get hold of our number? We're not listed!" At that point, he abruptly disconnected the call. The area code associated with the number is from Skegness in Lincolnshire, UK. Quite the hassle, I must say!

Had the exact same thing happen today. Got a call from a very noisy place, sounded like an office probably based in India. The bloke said he was from Microsoft and claimed my laptop was at risk. I told him I wasn’t going to sort anything out over the phone right now, so he’s ringing back tomorrow. I figured this would give me enough time to look into it more because from what I’ve read here and heard off others, it’s definitely just a con and best stayed clear of.
