Had this horrible call from some dodgy call centre bloke who barely spoke proper English. He kept asking about my boiler brand, saying he was from some government programme. Then he claimed that the TPS rules didn’t apply since he wasn’t trying to sell me anything! He refused to give his company name too. I’d report to the ICO but I’m pretty sure the number’s faked anyway.

Got a call asking if my boiler was more than six years old. I told them I don’t even have a boiler. Then they asked if I use electric heaters - no, just a wood burner here. They also wanted to know if I’m on any benefits. I nicely cut the conversation short, saying I wasn’t about to chat about my private stuff with someone I don’t know!
