I had a call stating that they were from Virgin/O2 ands my sim card would need replacing due to the changeover of mobile supplier and a new one would be sent out. A woman sounded quite convincing and if you have contacted virgin, which operates from the Phillipines, she sounded exactly like one of their technicians.I suspect this is a scam, beware!

Someone rang saying they're from VIRGIN / O2, but the number showed up as 'Possible spam' on my phone. I asked if they could tell me my name to prove who they were, but they said that wasn’t allowed. It felt a bit dodgy, to be honest.
