I received a call from a number I didn't recognise. Curiosity got the better of me, so I picked up. The person on the other end claimed to represent Virgin Media and requested my banking details. Very dodgy, if you ask me!

Then they asked for my email to “verify the account” and said they’d send a one-time code. Honestly, don’t give out your info - they might hack your account. Total scammers, absolute muppets.
