From what I’ve read in various other comments, it appears they’ve got a significant roster of numbers for these pesky spam calls. Usually, when they attempt to drag the conversation out, I just let them know they’re in cahoots with CROOKS.

Had a call from this number just a quarter of an hour back. I answered, but there was silence on the other end-no one seemed inclined to have a chinwag. I could just make out a bit of noise in the background, rather reminiscent of a bustling call centre atmosphere.

SCAM alert. Some woman kept asking me loads of daft questions about my loft insulation. Then she went on about which price hike worried me the most. Total waste of time.

This lady was really pushy asking loads of questions about whether we qualify for some energy upgrade scheme. I just ended the call, couldn't be bothered.

When I asked, the guy said the company was called "Energy Wise." But he refused to say where he was calling from and then just hung up on me. Weird behaviour if you ask me.
