I received a call from a woman speaking with a noticeable accent, claiming to be from Yell.co. She had my details, which made me quite apprehensive. To clarify things, I decided to ring Yell.com’s freephone number. After a bit of back and forth, they confirmed that my listing had indeed been updated that very day, so it appears she was genuine. Interestingly, the call originated from Slough, but when I dialled the 0800 number, it routed me all the way to the Philippines. Quite the mystery, considering it was the same accent, just from a different corner of the globe!
