I got a call early on Wednesday morning, around 8:10am on the 28th of February, 2024. A woman with an Asian accent said she was Ann from Microsoft. I wasn’t convinced at all and just hung up straight away. Sounds to me like it was probably a scam attempt.

Someone rang me pretending to be from Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my PC that needed fixing. Seemed like a total scam trying to steal my info.

Got a call from someone saying they're from Visa/Mastercard, saying there's a security check on a £900 payment to Western Union. Seems dodgy to me! It's from a local number though, which makes me a bit uneasy. I'll definitely check with my bank just to be safe.
