Got a recorded call asking for someone called Pauline Underwood. The message said to press 1 if it’s me or 2 if it’s not. Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

On the 4th of November around 4:35 in the afternoon, we got a call from a man who sounded Indian, talking about issues with my computer. My wife quickly spotted he was trying to scam us and ended the call straight away.

I got a call from an Asian man claiming there was something wrong with my laptop or computer. Does anyone know a way we could get this scammer caught by the police?

Got a call from this number, bloke said he was from Microsoft and that my computer had some dodgy programs.
He asked me to log on and let him control it remotely!!
Quite insistent, but I told him I didn't want anything to do with it, then he moved on to bother someone else.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who couldn’t even say my name right. She kept insisting I sit at my computer so she could fix some virus issues. I told her she must be joking if she thinks I’m daft, then I just hung up. What surprised me the most was that the number actually showed up on my caller ID!

I got a phone call from someone saying they were "PC Support," which immediately seemed like one of those dodgy scams. A bit later, I decided to look up the number and sure enough, it matched this one.

Got a call from someone claiming my computer had issues. He asked me to turn on my PC and connect with him straight away. I told him I wasn’t falling for it because it sounded like a scam. He kept insisting he was legit, but I kept saying no thanks. After a bit, he finally gave up and hung up.

Got a call earlier this evening, some bloke claiming to be a legit computer engineer trying to fix a problem with our internet that was apparently leaving our computer vulnerable to hackers. Seemed pretty convincing at first, especially when he asked my wife to switch on the PC so he could take control remotely. My missus wasn’t having any of it though and said she had her own way of sorting it before just hanging up. I reckon they'll try contacting us again soon. I doubt I’ll be as patient or polite as she was if they do!

Got a call from some bloke claiming there was an issue with my computer. He offered to fix it for me. I jokingly asked if he wanted to take over my machine to sneak into my bank details and nick my passwords. He just chuckled and said he deals with stuff "offline", so he can't get hold of that kind of info. Seriously, don't trust this rubbish - just end the call straight away!

Got a call from someone with what sounded like an Indian/Pakistani accent, saying my computer was infected with a virus and trying to take control of it. I just told him to jog on and stop wasting my time.
