Got a call twice today, 18th October 2019, from someone saying they were from BT and that they were going to disconnect my BT landline. They had this recorded message telling me to press 1 or 2 - 1 to check the issue, or 2 to disconnect. I pressed 1 and then the hash key, and was connected to someone who sounded like they were in another country. I couldn’t understand a word they said, so I ended the call.
