So yesterday this number gave me a ring, and I decided to keep them talking for about 20 minutes just having a bit of fun. I eventually told them, "Sorry, I’ve got a bloke grabbing my leg here, pulling it just like I’ve been pulling yours!" They didn’t take too kindly to that, called me some not-so-nice names, then ended the call. Proper funny moment though!

This number rang me earlier today around 8:15am, claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support. I just hung up straight away. Then they rang back at 10:19am, but all I could hear was background noise like a busy call centre. I ended the call again without saying anything.

First got a call from TalkTalk tech support, then later i got a ring from a private number, and also from 01753 691511. Quite annoying really.

Got a missed call from this number earlier today, then just now I got a call from a private number. No messages or anything left behind. I guessed it might be some sort of “TalkTalk tech support” since they’ve called me before on this line and my old landline too. Last time they called, it was a recorded message warning about my internet getting cut off. That would make more sense if I actually used TalkTalk for my internet. Dodgy bunch if you ask me.

Got a call that claimed to be from TalkTalk, saying someone else was using my broadband. I played along and kept him chatting, answering some silly questions he asked. Then he called me a daft bloke for not recognising my router brand. I told him I’ve not been with TalkTalk for over two years. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away!

I got a call from this number once, but the moment I picked up, they just hung up. Felt like some kind of call centre buzzing about. If it's one of those TalkTalk scams again, they’re such a pain. I’ve had them ring me up 5 times a day before, claiming there’s an issue with my router and asking to access my PC. They always switch up the number though, so watch out!

Got a call from this number early morning around 8, but they just cut off quickly. Later at 10:21, the same day, they tried again but I couldn’t pick up and there was no voicemail left. I called back right away but no one answered.

Got a call from this number early this morning about 8am. Tried ringing back but ended up with a voicemail that said the inbox is full. Quite annoying really!

I got a call from this number but didn’t answer it. It just went to my voicemail and there was no message at all. If it was something important, surely they’d have left a message, right? My neighbour got called as well, but she hasn’t got any internet or even a computer, so warning her about her internet being cut off was just ridiculous!

Got a call at half past seven in the morning from someone claiming to be with the Talk Talk Technical Team, saying there was a problem with my internet speed. I hung up straight away, but they kept ringing back three more times. When I finally picked up again, I told them I wasn’t with Talk Talk. The caller then said he wasn’t with them exactly, but from my ISP and was there to sort the issue out.
He asked me to turn my computer on and tell him which lights were blinking. The guy spoke with a strong Indian accent and was quite hard to catch. I told him I’d call my actual provider if I had any issues and that I needed to leave for work now. Haven’t heard anything since.

Sounds like a scam to me. The moment I mentioned I didn’t own a computer, they just dropped the call. They claimed to be from TalkTalk.

Got a call at 8:16 but didn’t know the number, so I just let it ring out to voicemail. They didn’t leave a message though, which seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I’d just dropped off to sleep when this number rang and disturbed me. When I picked up, they just ended the call straight away. Now I’m knackered for work. Proper nuisance.

Got a call claiming they were from Talk Talk, saying I was already a customer, which isn’t true. I hung up straight away. They rang back about 10 minutes afterwards, but I didn’t pick up.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk’s tech support, saying there was an issue with my phone line. I tried to hear what else they’d say to gather some info, but they just hung up. Now I have that number blocked for good.

Got a call from this number today, one of loads lately, with someone saying they were from TalkTalk. They had an Indian accent and said my internet was slow. I pretended to go along even though I don’t have a laptop. They told me to turn it on and asked which button was next to the control key. I just said I didn’t know coz I don’t own a laptop. Then suddenly they started shouting at me, saying I was wasting their time. How exactly am I wasting their time when they called me? They ended up calling me a “bloody fool” in that accent before hanging up. Crazy. C.
