Someone with an Asian accent called me, saying they were from Openreach. They told me my internet was slow because of my router and said they needed to get into my computer to fix it. When I questioned him, he kept pushing, insisting I should let him in 'cos he’s an Openreach engineer and could sort it out. Funny enough, I do have internet issues, but BT are already handling it. From what BT told me, Openreach don’t deal with customers directly, only with ISPs. When I mentioned that, he just hung up on me.
