Got a scam call again today, 10/01/17, about my BT router supposedly being hacked. They tried to tell me they needed to access my PC to fix it. The call came from the number 001845666320. Tried calling it back but the number wasn’t recognised. This is the fifth time in just two days, all the calls have started with 0018 or 0015. Watch out for these!

My mum's quite old and has no clue about computers at all, and they still rang her up - unbelievable!

Had one of those typical fake tech support calls today. When I told the bloke I’m an actual IT guy and asked him to carry on with his spiel, he suddenly got quiet. I called him out on his nonsense, said a few choice words, then he just dropped the line. Best thing is to note down their numbers and report ’em to Action Fraud - look it up on Google!

Got a call around 3:50 pm today from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from computer tech support. He said my PC was infected with viruses that my antivirus couldn't find. Definitely the same old scam nonsense!

I got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, called himself ‘Henry’ and claimed to be from some tech support team, saying there was an issue with my computer. I told him I didn’t even own a computer, so he asked how I checked my emails. Then, without another word, he just hung up. I’ve blocked the number now. Honestly, I’m so tired of these scammy calls - total cowboys. Someone in the government really needs to do something to stop this rubbish and protect people from getting harassed like this at home.

Got a call saying it was from 'Greater London'. They tried telling me my computer had some kind of issue, which is just not true at all. I just ended the call right away. Total scam.

Got a call saying my internet speed is really slow, total scam if you ask me! Don't fall for it!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was Andy Roberts from thetechhelpline[###]. He claimed my computer had unsafe files downloaded on it. I pretended to go along with it while he asked me to visit a site called onesupport[###]. Naturally, I didn’t click on anything, but I’m pretty sure it could’ve ended badly. Seriously, don’t let yourselves get caught out by these scams!

I received yet another dubious call, and wouldn't you know it, the caller specifically asked for our associate by name. It's rather alarming to think that someone might be peddling this directory without permission, especially since I've been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for ages now!

I've never heard a peep from them, and it's quite maddening. Could just be a bloke's voice that puts a stop to the chatter.

Received a call at my workplace from this number, but the caller didn’t utter a word and just hung up. Quite frustrating, especially since we seem to get bothered by this number daily!

I had an odd encounter with a chap who seemed to be searching for the owner of a landline. The moment we asked for our name, he promptly terminated the call without a moment's hesitation. Quite peculiar, I’d say! Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
