As soon as my voicemail picked up, the person on the other end just hung up straight away.

Someone rang me pretending to be from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet. They asked me to turn on my computer, but I wasn’t having any of it. No way!

He was background noise from an office then just ended the call.

This particular number is supposedly from TalkTalk, and they have been rather disrespectful when I've mentioned that I'm not a customer of theirs.

I picked up and heard loads of background noise like a hectic office, but then the person just ended the call straight away without saying a word. Typical trouble you get when dealing with TalkTalk, unfortunately.

I attempted to ring them back but my phone didn’t recognise the number.

At about 1.49pm on the 4th of Feb, I got a call from someone pretending to be with TalkTalk. They had an Asian accent and got really rude once I called them out as a scammer. Definitely suspicious and dodgy behaviour.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who said his name was Dave and that he was calling from Talk Talk. I said, “Oh, really?” and he just hung up straightaway.
