Once I saw the comment, I decided to block the number straight away. It just stopped bothering me after that.

Just got a call from this number but didn’t pick up ‘cos it seemed a bit dodgy. I’m on the telephone preference service, so usually I don’t get random calls, but this one wasn’t blocked. No voicemail was left, but I reckon it’s probably some sort of roofing advert. Might just be another cold call trying to sell their services.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘bt’, saying there were alerts about my internet being hacked. They then told me to open some software on my computer.

some bloke called david watson said he’s from bt and keeps telling me he needs to “upgrade” my broadband by accessing stuff on my phone. he even gave me his work ID and told me to ring 02086388301 to check he’s legit. he’s been pretty pushy about it all.
