If you ring them back, you’ll never get anyone on the other end. It’s like a robo-call that just goes off on a loop from 9 in the morning till 9 at night, Monday through Saturday. Proper frustrating!

This number has rung me twice now, which is odd since my number’s unlisted and we’re on the no cold-call list. The person on the line was a woman who claimed she was checking on our Sky broadband. When I said, “Is that so?”, she just disconnected straight away. Seems like a dodgy call to me; if it was legit, I’m pretty sure she’d have stuck around to explain.

A gentleman of Asian descent contacted us, claiming to represent Sky. He stated that our internet connection had been breached and that our personal information was at risk. We informed him that this couldn’t possibly be true since we utilise a VPN. He then ominously warned that if we didn’t take immediate action, he’d have to disconnect our internet service. At that point, I decided it was best to end the conversation.
