this number has been calling me loads lately, like a few times every day. since the area code is from my local town, i figured it might be something worth picking up for. but as soon as i say hello, the caller just hangs up. ive stopped answering now and added the number to my block list.

I got a call from a woman who said her name was "Emily," but you could tell she wasn’t a native English speaker at all. She asked if she could ask me something quick - whether I’d been shopping at Tesco or Sainsbury’s. I said no, and then she went on saying “you’ve got a really nice voice, are you in your early 50s?” which felt pretty odd. I just ended the call there. Seems like it was some dodgy scam trying to get info or something.

Got a call around 8:53pm from someone saying her name was Emily. Could tell straight away it wasn’t a local because of her accent. She started asking if I ever shop at Tesco or Sainsbury’s, to which I said no. Then out of nowhere she tells me I’ve got a lovely voice and asks if I’m in my early 50s - bit odd if you ask me. I ended the call pretty quick, something about it just didn’t sit right, felt like a scam brewing.
