I've received numerous calls from a chap who claims that my holiday timeshare with Club La Costa was mis-sold to me. He’s asking for £4,000 to kick off some legal action, promising that I could potentially recover £50,000 or even more, as they’ve flouted various regulations and are now in administration. He insists that a judge in Spain could assist in retrieving my funds. He certainly sounds knowledgeable, and it seems he’s done his research, as there are websites boasting success stories of people reclaiming their money alongside compensation. His persistence has been quite striking. Yet, I find myself in a bit of a quandary - is this genuine or a ruse? I feel justified in wanting to reclaim the £26,000 I shelled out, especially since I’ve never even used the plan; the monthly fees were simply outweighing the cost of booking holidays elsewhere. It's all rather bewildering!

He claims to be recovering funds for timeshares that were sold under false pretenses. Specifically, he has mentioned Resort Properties (Bob Trotter) and Diamond Resorts. He comes across as a highly knowledgeable and sincere individual, evidently well-versed in the various cons associated with Resort Properties. It seems he could be looking to rally folks for another class action lawsuit. However, I feel I've already moved past that point and wouldn't be inclined to participate.

They claim to be affiliated with the TAC Timeshare Advice Centre, but surprisingly, they’re calling from Spain yet using a phone number from Slough. The catch is, they seem incapable of responding to straightforward queries and continuously attempt to steer the conversation towards a rather pointless Zoom call, insisting that such a meeting is proof of their legitimacy-really? Ultimately, their aim appears to be to hook you onto their bandwagon of claimants against timeshare businesses. If you happen to inquire about their fee structure, you’ll find they evade the question and simply keep deflecting to the idea of a Zoom meeting. Frankly, if they were genuine, they would have the ability to answer direct questions, but as it stands, they haven’t managed to provide a clear response to something so simple. Save your time and skip this!

This number is listed as being from Slough, yet the person on the other end claims they’re calling from Spain. Quite the mystery, I must say!

I've been bombarded with calls from this number, so I usually just let them ring off. Honestly, I’m quite tired of their incessant attempts to get hold of me!
