Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, but they already knew my name. Told them I don't have a personal O2 line, just a business mobile, and mentioned the whole company might want a deal. They just ended the call after that.

Just a heads up, got a call from someone saying they were from O2 but they only knew my name and number. Thing is, my O2 line isn’t even registered in my name, so it was weird they had those details at all. When I said they needed to speak to my partner (who’s the actual account holder), they got dodgy. Seems like a total scam, so I wouldn’t share anything personal if I were you.

They've been ringing me non-stop for days. I finally picked up and it was a lady going on about recycling in my neighbourhood. I asked her which area exactly, and she only knew the first bit of my postcode but got my town completely wrong. I told her I wasn’t interested and to stop calling me. Just as I hung up, she rang back straight away. I've now blocked the number.
