Got a call from 01753260051, some Asian fella. I answered and he actually used my name, which was a bit creepy. When I asked what it was about, he said he had some offers for me. I asked if I’d requested the call and he said no, he just got my number from somewhere. Told him I’d report him and he just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now, but I reckon they'll just try a different number next time.

My mum gave me a ring just to say hi. She’s got a handful of languages under her belt and somehow juggles with loads of firms all out to con you. Every now and then, she’ll hang up mid-chat because she’s got a gobful of nonsense to spit out. Watch out when she asks for your bank info - better tell your bank you’re cool with sharing the deets with her and whatever cash she nabs is all fine by you.
