Every time I pick up the phone, they just hang up! It's really frustrating.

I received a phone call from someone who asserted they were representing O2, asking me to provide my banking details. They mentioned there was an unresolved bill tied to my account. As I don't have any dealings with O2, I promptly blocked the number.

Some bloke rang claiming he was from 02 and asked for every number on my card, even wanted the last three digits on the back. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I'm a bit worried right now because I got a call from this number saying I could get an iPhone 12 for just £20. They asked me for my sort code and account number, and after saying I was eligible, they then wanted the long number on my card plus the security code on the back to verify my identity. That was when I decided to end the call. Surely no one legit should be asking for these details, right???

I answered a call out of the blue and the person on the other end already had all my details.

The number popped up as spam so I ignored it. They rang me about five times today and finally left a voicemail around 7.41pm. When I played it back, all I heard was silence for like 16 seconds. No clue who they are but it felt kinda creepy, to be honest.

I got a call from 01753208913 and the person said they were from O2. When I asked for their name, they just hung up on me. Honestly, the best way to deal with these calls is to say “hold on, there’s someone at the door” and leave them waiting. Once they hang up, you can hang up as well. Do this every time and eventually they’ll get fed up and stop calling.

Kept ringing loads but no one ever picked up. Ended up blocking that number straight away.
