I picked up the call but nobody said anything and they hung up. That's all there is to it!

Some bloke rang saying he was George Riley from H I ITD, claiming he was doing surveys on loft insulation because of some damp and mould issues. When I asked him about when or who had put in the loft insulation upgrade, he couldn’t give me a straight answer. I told him that unless he had a proper written request beforehand, showed me ID, and gave decent notice, I wasn’t letting him anywhere near my loft. Something felt off - it definitely smelled like a scam.

Had a call from a very polite woman who was offering a free loft insulation check to make sure everything was fine. Our insulation was done roughly four years back. I told her there wasn’t any issue and turned down the offer. Ended up blocking the number so she won’t call again.

He was talking about loft insulation I got put in a while ago and said they wanted to come round to check it because it might be poor quality. Apparently, their reps were going to be nearby today and tomorrow. I just said I wasn’t bothered and ended the call.

Phoned this so called energy advisor and mentioned my house is actually a grade ‘A’ registered property, asked why they’d call then. Sounds like a bit of a scam to me. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

I got a call from some company, couldn't catch the name, but the person sounded polite enough. He talked about checking some locks that supposedly were installed two decades ago. As usual, he said he’d be in my neighbourhood soon. They actually knew my proper name and where I live, which was a bit odd. I didn’t agree to any appointment and haven’t blocked the number yet. I’ll keep an eye on it if they ring again. What felt off was that this same number called my other landline at exactly the same time, but I didn’t pick up that one. Definitely seems fishy to me.
